Born in Loveland, Colorado and passed away at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee.
His father, Frank and mother, Georgia Tomson preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sister, Glenda Breninger of Virginia and Rodney Tomson of Colorado and Cheryl King.
He was the proud parent of two children: son, William Tomson of Tennessee and daughter, Debra Cordle of Illinois; three precious grandchildren, Jared and Bryce Tomson of Tennessee, and Amelia of Danville, Illinois.
He served in the United States Navy for four years on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt.
He married his high school sweetheart, Elaine Adams of Loveland. They were married 51 years.
Larry was a draftsman, a cartographer, surveyor, home builder, recorder manager at Rocky Flats till it shut down and then drove the city bus for RTD for 15 years.
Upon suffering the first of three blood clots through his lung, he retired and opened his own upholstery and woodworking shop in his garage. He had so much upholstery business he had a difficult time finding time to do his woodworking projects. Oh. how he enjoyed making hand crafted keepsakes.
