Obituary

DEREK WAYNE BERWAGER- age 27 passed away Monday February 14, 2022. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles Davenport of Gallatin & Rebecca Ann Overstreet Pedigo of Alexandria. 
Derek is survived by his parents, Butch Berwager of LaVergne, Tn.  & Gina D. Berwager of Gallatin, Tn.; grandparents, Donna (H.D.) Fann of Centerville, Tn. & Kenneth Berwager of Abbottstown PA; & numerous other loving family members and friends. 
Derek was a 2012 graduate of LaVergne High School after which he became a skilled Machinist and CNC operator. Derek was a believer in God and a genuinely good guy in every sense of the word. He had a million dollar smile and a laugh that was contagious the second you heard it. He loved camping, late night pontoon rides &  bon fires. He enjoyed any card game and storytelling session anyone wanted to start up. Derek was a handsome, vibrant, fun loving "Chevy Guy" with a huge heart and kind soul. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him especially his loving family. 
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday February 19, 2022 in the Partee House, 233 West Main Street, Lebanon, TN 37087  from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m..
 In lieu of flowers the family request making a donation to a favorite charity of your choice or doing a kind act in memory of Derek.
